Our car broke down on the highway on the second day. We called AVIS/BUDGET service and had had lost half of our day having to wait for service before having to take a TAXI for 2 hours to get a new car and drive 2 hours back again.

We received a 43 Euro phone bill for the calls.

Also, we were given a speeding ticket (fair enough), and for forwarding the information to the authorities for them to be able to send us the fine, AVIS BUDGET group charged us an extra 42 Euros.

I called customer service and am appaled that they don´t care. The woman on the phone just stopped talking to me and didn´t say anything more.

Do not rent a car from this company!
